The hostel is on a small quiet street, which I like. The girl who checked me in was so nice and helpful that I thought was an excellent start. However, my room was very small, which I didn’t care, but very dark all day and I couldn’t hardly tell when the sun rose. Daily cleaning was not complete. The shower curtain was not long enough to cover the entire shower stall, and on the first night I had lots of water splashed on the bathroom floor. I wiped it with the foot mat. The next day a new foot mat was not provided. I also noticed the sink in the bathroom and glass shelf above it, etc., were never cleaned during my 4-night stay. The shower curtain must be replaced because the smell of it even reached the bedroom. I have read good reviews about this place, too, so there must be better rooms ????. Overall all I can say is you get what you pay for. Often even if you don’t pay a lot, you have a surprisingly nice stay. This time it didn’t turn out to be that way. For travelers who prefer to stay near the city center and attractions, the location is excellent though.
