We always have a great experience at The Beach House. The only negative, and this is more about the other guests than the property, is the number of dogs running loose. I appreciate that dogs are allowed but there are always those who abuse the rules

The room is clean, remodeled, and comfortable. The front desk staff is super friendly. There's a great view by the beach where you can see Mackinac Island and Mackinac Bridge. It's close to everything, and within walking distance of Mackinac City Park and downtown! We enjoyed staying there.

We own an Air B&B in Vanderbilt and woke up Thursday morning wondering where to go. We headed to St. Ignace and absolutely love to stay at small roadside 40s era motels. The Cedars did not disappoint. Small quaint refurbished room was expected and welcomed. Room and grounds were spotless. Do yourself a favor and stay here. No, it is not as roomy as a corporate room, but this place has character. Staff was awesome, nightly bon fires. We highly recommend and we definitely WILL be back in the fall!

We loved the new cabin with kitchen. It was cozy and spacious. We loved being on the beach and seeing the sunsets and making bonfires. We had to walk a lot but we had ferry shuttle rides that helped bring us to and from the many restaurants and shops. Martin was wonderful and very helpful and thoughtful. He was always there if we needed anything. A great place to stay!

We booked through Expedia last minute and received a room towards the front of the property. The room had a weird smell to it which became worse when we turned the AC fan mode on. The front desk employee offered us another room with a $300 up charge which we declined. Other than this the parking was convenient and having access to the beach was very nice. Staff working in the office were nice.

The rooms aren't anything fancy, but that's why the price is more reasonable. They are clean (thanks Daneika! you did great), comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful, which made for an enjoyable stay.
