"Staff was amazing, beds were super comfortable, great breakfast. Very much enjoyed the beautiful front porch. Ferry personnel did not come in time for our luggage to be brought to the boat, so staff at Metivier Inn brought it themselves. Very impressed with how they went out of their way so things went smoothly for us."

"We really like this hotel, it's in the heart of downtown Mackinac Island, so it was the perfect place to regroup between biking around the island, shopping or going out to eat. Our view wasn't the greatest, as we had a room that looked out over an alley and nearby houses, but we weren't in the room that much that it made a big difference. The price was reasonable which was an added bonus. "

"Wonderful staff, attentive and kind. Roshane at the Round Island Kitchen was phenomenal and remembered each of my kids names every time we saw him. Even when he wasn't our waiter, he checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The cleaning staff was also extremely friendly and greeted us by name every time they saw us. This is a great place to stay on Mackinac, especially if you have kids. We also got tickets for my parents to see "The McCartney Years", and they loved it. "

"Very nice (slightly dated, but very well maintained and very clean) property right on Lake Superior. We loved the lake views from our balcony! Check in staff was very friendly, the concierge was also very friendly and provided ferry and Mackinac Island recommendations, and the breakfast was a nice mix of hot and cold options. I'd happily stay here again if I'm ever back in the area!"
