"This is truly an absolutely unique and unreal place to stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. The pods are stunning and very comfortable with all little detail very well thought of. The owners are fantastic, very accommodating and hospitable. And we also loved the dogs. The views are incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the sounds of howler monkeys in the backdrop. The meals provided were very tasty. "We had a wonderful stay at Cayena. The rooms are spotless, beds comfortable, warm showers and ac worked well. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and we loved that we could go to the beach club next door which was a bit more active or stay at our hotel which was quieter. The food at both restaurants was delicious. I would highly recommend Cayena if you’re looking to explore this area. "

"Deze locatie is geschikt wanneer je een echte basic ervaring wilt. Breng zeker ook je eigen eten mee en wel alvorens je naar de locatie toegaat. De weg 7 km er naartoe is bijna onbegaanbaar voor normale auto's. bij aankomst was onze boeking onbekend. De kamer had geen airco of enige bescherming tegen ongedierte door de deuren of ramen heen. En we hadden geen stromend water. Het winkeltje heeft nauwelijks assortiment en het restaurant nauwelijks hygiëne en smakelijk eten"
