These rooms don't have microwaves or refrigerators and lots of hidden fees. Shower walls are open and unsealed so water goes all over the bathroom floor. Even from the third floor, the noise was insane 24-7, and the windows covers don't seal, so it is impossible to have a dark room at night! Very overpriced for not having any real amenities.

When checking in we weren't greeted warmly and did not feel welcomed. Our interaction with the front desk was very short and dry. We were instructed to sign the hotel agreement/documents and then handed the keys, and that was pretty much it. No explanation of hotel amenities, where things were, how late areas of the hotel were open, etc. Trying to get basic explanation of our car parking situation too was a pain. The room and esthetic of the hotel was very modern and chic. There was a clump of hair left over from the previous guests in the shower drain so we knew it wasn't the cleanest. We had high expectations of this hotel and overall it was an average if not subpar experience.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! I appreciated the decor, the service and the amenities. The staff was genuine, warm, welcoming — and very professional! The neighbourhood guide was genius — and very helpful to this out-of-towner. I went to the wonderful restaurant Chulita twice, and recommended it to several others whom I met on my trip (who also went!). And while this is obviously an up and coming neighbourhood, it doesn’t feel completely safe — especially for lone female travellers. It might be a good idea to warn guests about the neighbourhood and being cautious in the surrounding areas. My sincere thanks for the overall wonderful experience!
