The hotel cancelled my reservation saying that they could not charge my credit card. However, my bank informed me that there's no problem with the card I used to guarantee the booking. We arrived at the hotel on 31 December 2019 at around 10 pm only to be told that our reservation had been cancelled and there was no more room available! I had never had any problems with Hotels.com and this is really terrible! Aw were told to leave the hotel reception by 11 pm and we were left in the cold night with no place to stay! As a result, we also missed the fire works in London, something which we had been looking forward to for almost 6 months!!!!
