We had reserved our stay starting the night before to be able to check in immediately upon arriving on an early flight but when we arrived our reservation couldn't be found. It took a while to find once we pointed out that the reservation started the previous night.

Well all the staff were absolutely brilliant, down to earth yet really welcoming, they seemed genuinely happy that we chose the hotel. I hate to feel that people are subservient to me, both my kid and I that visited, love to engage with people that take pride in their work but never want anyone to act in a subservient way merely because we pay to stay. Please make sure your staff continue to be happy for that makes us equally happy customers to mingle with chilled staff. The price range was a bit high for us though but the breakfast was really top quality, it really matters when the salami is proper salami and the ham is proper ham. The cheese wasn't that great but then with the price of cheddar I guess some substitute had to be found. The mini croissants were to die for, my 14 year old loved them, congrats to your suppliers. I just prefer my coffee, which I consider a treat in a hotel, as I take time to enjoy it there, to have it in a proper wide cup not a mug, as a mug restricts one's ability to savour the aroma. The cappuccino itself was really lovely. Again well done to your suppliers. Overall brilliant, well done to your staff, room very neat and super clean too, as ultimately they are the ones that make or break a place, for in this mad electronic led world it really is important we keep the decent human contact going. My son would live to return next time we visit London but at £180 for the night it was a bit dear for me. I shall look out for any deals thoug

The beds were uncomfortable they definitely need new mattresses. Great location near the train station quick to get places a great quiet area! I didn’t like that the security guards don’t help with opening doors when exiting with luggage. Pretty decent overall.

We loved our 8 night stay at City Sleeper.Great location just five minutes from the Tube and an easy walk to Covent Garden. It’s a busy but well-organised hotel with spacious rooms. We appreciated being able to return to our cosy room at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The location is great - close to trains, buses and underground. We easily walked to Covent Garden and Soho. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom is new and very good. I liked that the hotel offers storage room for the luggage. We arrived around 10 am and our room wasn't ready so early so we left our suitcases and left to explore Lo don. The only downside for me is that the windows are not very well soundproofed and basically every single street noise could be heard. Although, the street is relatively quiet after hours. Overall great stay. No refrigerator in the room

Hotel was very spacious compared to others i had browsed and kept clean through out our entire trip. Would recommend staying in cause everything was within walking distance and area was very nice. Many shops and restaurants were within a 5 minute walking distance and an underground station was across the street!

We are due to check out early in the morning and once I am back home I plan to address this with my credit card company. However, the pipes in the room are very noisy, not any real ventilation, and can get super cold at night despite using the heating. The beds are also not so comfortable. There also is no real way to keep water from spraying outside of the shower since there is no real door. The day we arrived we had to wait a while to check in as another lady was upset about the noise in the hotel rooms too and staff had to address her concerns. The staff has been amazing - responded quick if we needed anything. The place is not worth what I paid though and I won’t stay again.

Close to everything, rooms are quite nice. No air conditioning but they provide a fan and the windows open. I stayed in February so this wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was delicious, recommend including this option in your stay. Favorite local restaurant is “wings wings”

This is a nice hotel, seems recently updated but they try and make you use an app for a key and it is very annoying, you can ask for a key apparently. Also the security is very high and ridiculously so - the lift won’t even stop at your floor unless you tap the key, that’s fine but when the lift is busy it’s very annoying. Minor things though

Five stars from me!
Brilliant stay, the gentleman was very friendly & welcoming on the front desk, easy to check in and pay. Room was perfectly clean and everything working as it should, no damage or faults with anything in the room, Chromecast built in to the TV definitely a plus! Lovely modern clean decor as well. Room was nicely replenished & cleaned every day. Staff at breakfast every day were also very friendly & helpful, food and drink constantly replenished so never run out of anything. Short walk to Russell Square tube as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in central London :)

City Sleeper one night stay
Hello - just to say the hotel have agreed a £50 refund a compensation. Unfortunately teh room next door parties till 4.30am and there was definitely a group with the guests above and beyond the room occupancy. It wa an adjoining room so they kept trying teh locked door between rooms. Security eventually spoke to them but it was 4.30am by that point. The hotel said that they were unable to process the refund due to the type of booking, so you would need to do that, then they will process to you. Thanks

Nice hotel but ashame that no restaurant or bar on site other than for breakfast. Have to go to other hotels or across to London pub. So much wasted space that could be used even for a small bar area. Very disappointing especially as a 4 star hotel. Sadly would not choose to go back to this hotel.

Hotel was in a great location, breakfast was lovely and staff were kind and helpful. Only complaint was that rooms were a little chilly and it was difficult to adjust the room temperature. Blankets on the beds were too small to fully cover an adult.

9/10 Weird Shower Setup
Great location! Good breakfast. Room was a good size. The shower is a little strange with just a half door. The shower head tends to cause the spray to get all over the floor. We had no issue with space having 4 suitcases in the room. Very convenient to Russel Square tube station, restaurants, and a convenience store right across the street. Would definitely stay here again during a winter trip.

Very noisy overlooking the courtyard
We were allocated a room facing the courtyard on the basis it would be quieter. However, there was a very loud noise sounding like a water tank filling or a gas burner on all night. Not great. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable.

Updated, clean , neat. QUIET! Great price point! Phenomenal service, good English breakfast included. Extremely secure which is great for a solo female traveler. Waitrose, Boots and 24hr Tesco nearby and a 5 min walk to Russell Square Station on Picadilly Line
