The Falmouth Hotel

"I would recommend this hotel we had a lovely visit the staff are very friendly, the location is brilliant, the cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and served at the table which is so much nicer. The only thing was the lift had broken down so we had to climb lots of flights of stairs, as long as the lift is repaired we would definitely come back. Thanks we had a great stay."

"Excellent hotel about 10-15 walk from city centre. Very spacious room. Historic building with a former chapel at the front entrance. I can imagine it makes a great wedding venue."

"Hotel VARA is a really nicely renovated hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful and accommodated our very late check-in with no problem. We also ate dinner there, and the food was pretty nice for hotel food. They also provided a bottle of chilled water, which tasted delicious after coming from London. As other people have mentioned, it's not the most mobility-friendly place to stay. We ended up with a room with a bath only and no shower stand for the shower head. The hotel is also a up a hill, so if you are coming from the station, it's a bit of a climb. However, it's only 10 min into town and about 15 to the station since it's downhill."

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
