What a place! It’s like something out of Agatha Christie’s Poirot ❤️ The hotel is beautiful, the bar and fire area a dream, the food is superb quality but the best thing by a mile is the staff - they are just so lovely (special mentions to Alex, Julien and Brendan). There’s some great crêperies in the village and the beach area and walks are just so peaceful too. We can’t wait to go back!

A lovely hotel in a good location. However service was poor. Room cleaning was very hit and miss. Service in the restaurant very slow and some staff rude and nost seened tured of dealing with customers.

A completely peaceful and relaxing hotel set in beautiful, spacious grounds with sea views and direct access to a quiet little beach. The sun loungers on the lawn terrace overlooking the sea is a great spot for a sunny afternoon. Our room and en suite bathroom was clean and stylish and with a very big and super comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful in every way. There's a very nice bar with a log fire and a good selection of whiskies! We only ate dinner once in the hotel. It was expensive,as you would expect in a hotel of this standard but the food, wine and service were absolutely excellent. we ate here for my 60th birthday and I was not disappointed- a great thing to do for a special occasion. There are other decent bars and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away where we ate well on other nights. The wider area is beautiful, with coastal walks and quiet unspoilt beaches. The spa facilities are clean and well looked after, although the sauna is small with room only for two people at a time. This is my only criticism as it might be a problem at busy times. Overall, we loved our stay at Le Grand Hotel des Bains and would definitely return.

Excellent locatiom in its own grounds right on the waterfront close to the village cemtre and coastal walks. A quiet elegant hotel with attractive waterside restaurant and spacious comfortable lounge with log fire. i t would have been nice if the ( excellent ) breakfast had been included in the room raye rather than charged as an extra.

Nice views. Place needs refurbishing. Woodwork old and untreated. Room much too small for the money. V stuffy at night could only sleep properly with the door to the balcony open. Music from the dining room just loud enough to be irritating first thing in the morning (waking us up) and in the evening. Food OK, not worth the money could get better tasting elsewhere in the town, but head waiter snotty. Were served wrong fish and when found out the waiter just smiled and walked off. €16 for breakfast pp is much too much so we went to the bar 100m down for coffee and pastries from the patisserie on the way. The bar suggested this! When we got he bill the hotel had added €32 per day for the breakfast automatically and tried to charge us the higher price for the wrong fish. Overall needed the break and booked late but not worth the money really

The food is incredible!
Great hotel. A little expensive, but worth it. The restaurant is amazing, the food is marvelous. Really impressive. No doubt the food makes all the difference in my stay there.

Surprise for my Wife.
An excellent hotel which we have walked past several times. I booked as a surprise for my wife on Valentine's Day and the wonderful smile on her face when she saw the room and terrace was out of this world. An excellent hotel with great views across the bay to St Michel en Greve.

Un petit week-end en amoureux dans un lieu magique qui nous avait été chaudement recommandé et qui ne nous a vraiment pas déçus. Tout était parfait dans un cadre idyllique avec un accueil superbe et un personnel très professionnel et des repas vraiment très bons que ce soit à la brasserie de la plage le midi , au repas du soir à l'hôtel ou pour le petit déjeuner. Je recommande fortement le lieu et l'hôtel.

Très bel hôtel, bel extérieur, parc, parking. Dispose de bornes de recharge électrique. Buffet petit-déjeuner très complet. La conception de la douche dans la salle de bains empêche de se tenir debout. C'est dommage. La chambre est un peu petite pour le prix payé. Très belle piscine intérieure. L'organisation de la cuisine et du restaurant conduit à plusieurs services. Il faut réserver très tôt, sinon repas après 20h30.

Tout était parfait ! L endroit est magnifique avec des chemins de randonnées au pied de l’hôtel. Le lieu est très calme et permet un véritable ressourcement avec les différents soins du SPA et la piscine. Le personnel est adorable et le restaurant excellent !

Très bel emplacement, bel hotel, bon accueil et bons services. Très bon petit déjeuner. Le restaurant est excellent. La formule 1/2 pension est intéressante. La chambre est un peu petite pour deux personnes en voyage. La piscine et le hammam sont très bien. Le sauna était arrêté (coût de l'énergie?).

Je reste très mitigé car le site où se trouve l’hôtel est magnifique et l’hôtel a beaucoup de charme.. Par contre, appeler cela le relais du silence dans un hôtel qui n’a aucune isolation phonique contrairement à ce qui est inscrit sur votre site, c’est du foutage de gueule, les parquets ne sont pas à insonoriser et du coup on a le droit à tous les grincements des pas des clients dans les chambres à l’étage supérieur et dans le couloir. Donc le relais du silence est affreusement bruyant à l’intérieur et très calme à l’extérieur…

Une rareté à préserver
Un hôtel comme on les aime, respectant le style de l'époque et modernisé, chic sans en faire trop, idéal en couple comme en famille. Et une vue époustouflante. Bref, le genre d'endroit où l'on a envie de prendre ses habitudes et de revenir chaque année, ce qui n'est pas fréquent.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, dem wir aber eher nur 3 als 4 Sterne geben würden, denn abgesehen von dem wirklich großen Schwimmbecken und dem sehr schönen Speisesaal ist der Zustand der Flure und Zimmer eher mittelmäßig. Zwar mit Geschmack eingerichtet, aber dennoch nicht auf 4 Sterne Niveau. Die SPA- Einrichtung ist gut, wenngleich eine Saune für max 2 Personen und einen Hamam für max 4 Personen für ein Hotel mit über 30 Zimmern doch etwas mager ist. Das Personal hingegen ist nett, aufmerksam und um Zufriedenheit bemüht. Im Winter sind die preise angemessen, aber die Sommerpreise sind eindeutig viel zu hoch,

J'aime ce type d'hôtel ambiance bord de mer et déco type Nouvelle-Angleterre. Idéalement situé, propre, service impeccable et courtois. Mais hélas, je suis venu en semaine, sans doute la semaine la plus calme de l'année (le 12 décembre) et nous étions maxi 10/12 dans l'hôtel. Donc, certains détails m'ont déçus: parquet qui grince dans le couloir et au-dessus (impression que quelqu'un est dans la chambre), poubelle de SdB pleine...., portail du parking "à la main" et à ouvrir soi-même dans le froid et sous la pluie, et surtout de l'eau froide pendant 10 minutes pendant la douche (lié au peu de monde avec un grand réseau). On le comprend, mais pour un 4*, c'est difficile à apprécier. Restaurant bon mais que je trouve cher par rapport aux attentes. Pas de 1/2 bouteille de vin rouge? La qualité est là mais pas la quantité (3 excellents petits légumes autour de 2 petits bouts de poisson). Et je suggère, quand l'hôtel est aussi vide, de mettre les quelques clients dans de vraies chambres, avec une vue sur la mer plutôt que sur une terrasse d'arrière cour avec vis à vis. Encore une fois, j'assume puisque j'ai pris la chambre la moins chère! Donc, avis mitigé. NB: J'ai vraiment apprécié le geste commercial (pour l'eau froide!) qui fait que je serai "surclassé" lors de mon prochain séjour! Merci!

personnel accueillant, restaurant de bonne qualité mais très déçus par la chambre au 3ème étage N° 311 avec vue sue l'église avec le tuyau de ventilation de la cuisine au coin de la fenêtre, très petite moins de 12m², avec un faux-niveau de au moins 3cm au niveau du sol (il y à des 2* ou les chambres sont mieux).
