"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"The apartment was great, due to being a ground floor apartment they need to focus on the mustiness and either let people know if it’s dog friendly or cigarette friendly!! Jo was super good if there was an issue apart from the Wi-Fi was not great!!!!! Basics need to be looked at like a bottle opener, bought one and left it for the next occupants, all in all would stay there again."

"The bungalow was exactly as described but even better than we expected for a holiday let. A large open-plan and well-appointed lounge/diner/kitchen. The views from the site were lovely. It was quiet and there were several walks around the woods. The site is hilly so be prepared for some exercise! We did not use the pool but it looked very good from the outside. "This was the most amazing trip away we go to Torquay most years for our wedding anniversary and decided to stay here . The views and inside and outside space is truly wonderful and a real bonus . The food was delicious we had a lunchtime snack and breakfast . Staff were phenomenal the best we have ever had friendly and helpful and also made some lovely touches such as petals on our bed and a message on our mirror . We also had a fruit platter brought out to us during our stay . Nothing was too much bother . The bedroom were lovely we had a sea view and lots of space and tea and coffee facilities plus biscuits and other bits in the fridge . Would definitely recommend"
