Nice architecture but extremely noisy, surrounded by construction sites, can’t sleep. One front desk receptionist has very bad attitude

This is a lovely old palace in an excellent location in the old town. Breakfast is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, because of where it is, there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel, which starts very early in the morning. I was surprised this wasn't mentioned. We did not receive our welcome drink which would have been welcome after a delayed flight out. However, overall, we had a great time in Lisbon and the hotel and the staff were very nice.
