Beautiful property, clean rooms…loved that AC was on so apartment was nice and cool. Very easy to commute to places and area is safe. Communication was good…easy check-in. Just taking out a star since my daughter saw a roach under the kitchen sink our first morning there…prompting us to throwing out garbage everyday.

Fantastic Luxury Apartment in great area

Really loved the apartment - it was huge and airy and very comfortable. The bathrooms were 5-star hotel standard. The location is great too - right in the middle of the tourist district but still felt private. Above all, the management team is very responsive and helpful. Only a very small observation is the TV could benefit from an upgrade to be smarter and allow Netflix etc

Madalena Orquídea Living was the perfect place for us. We had a two bed two bath that is very spacious, clean modern and well maintained. It was very close to the grocery store, making it easy to stock up the very spacious fridge. Its also a few blocks away from the noisey touristy areas , with good restaurants and coffee places. Management was very responsive the internet was down on one day ,i reached out to them on their WhatsAPP and got immediate response that they were working on it with the local carrier. Madalena Orquídea Living lived up to our expectations and would recommend it to my friends & family.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The apartment was superb - exactly as the photos. Very well equipped, extremely clean and well located. The only issue was the code we were given to access the building didn’t work, so we were stranded outside which was it great particularly as we arrived on a Sunday…. However, we were finally able to contact the host and were given a new code, which worked.

Charming Apartment with Potential – But Maintenanc

Beautiful building with many charming details. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Great location in a pleasant and relatively safe neighborhood. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a strong sewage smell coming from the kitchen, and one of the two toilets kept running after being flushed. In addition, we were only able to get the air conditioning to work in one of the rooms, and we couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work at all. We quickly informed the host, who promised to send someone to take a look. When we returned the next day, they had fixed the air conditioning and the toilet. Unfortunately, the other issues were not addressed. Also, the mirror light in one of the bathrooms was out, and the toilet seat in the other bathroom was loose. All in all, it was an okay place, but there is room for improvement — and having a reception would have been a nice touch.

Beautiful, spacious and ideal location

We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The place was really spacious, beautifully decorated and in a ideal location for the old town part of Lisbon. The photos are accurate (might even be better in person). The restaurant downstairs was also a highlight. We didn't go until our last night and that was a mistake - we should have gone sooner. All that said, a couple of things to be aware of: The street is very noisy. They have really good windows and such, but there are at least a few sirens going by each day and other loud trucks and such. The floors are hardwood which means you hear your upstairs neighbors quite a bit. I would recommend the 6th floor if available. Also the front bedroom is less desireable for this reason. The good news is that it quieted down pretty nicely by 10pm or so each night we were there. It's also not ideally equipped for people working remote as there isn't a desk or anything.

This property was amazing! Perfectly situated in the city center close to shopping and food, but off the main streets so a little quieter. The owners communicated well. The apartment was well appointed with all the basics. Highly recommend this property!
