The room was clean and beautiful the staff are nice and approachable . I love the heating tub inside the room very relaxing. The only issue is the kitchen sink very slow/ plugged up and the pillow that I have was fluffy I’m not comfortable to sleep. Other than that is nice.

The room was in bad shape. Holes (6 of them) that were patched but not painted. The cabinet had damage all around it and was not fixed. The bathtub had a major damage 3 inches wide by 8 to 10 inches long. The shower had a lot of black mold like stuff in the grout of the doors and the outer box of the shower knobs. The cieling was showing signs of extreme water damage over the bed. The front desk person was rude and short with me, when i did not knoe my license number of my car. Since i had to park a bit awat from the front desk, i had to come back after checking in with that information. The women the next day behind the desk was so warm and pleasant, i would love to see more of her in the future. The pillows were amazing. Some were thich and semi firm and others were thinner and softer. So bith me and my hubby had our favorite type of pillows. The robes were a nice touch and the room had nice coffee and tea service for us.We picked this hotel due to several factors, ocean view room, king size bed, jetted tub and most importantly adult only. I was saden to see how run down and damaged our room was, we have stayed at this hotel several times before and our only complaint in the past were guest smoking pot on the balcony next to our room. I hope the maintenance budget gets some love soon so that this place is worthy again. My take away for my next visit, is to request verification of room before I just take a room, i dont want to stay in such disaray.

We have looked into which room you stayed in and have noted all of the maintenance issues for our maintenance team to address. We are working on fixing those issues in every room, but sometimes the process goes slower than we anticipate, especially with a higher occupancy during our "off" season. Very cute and largely well maintained space. Paid for a room with a Jacuzzi and view overlooking the water, but the window was so poorly cleaned it was a foggy, streaky mess that only got worse with the steam from the water. Also, the curtain for the shower is too small so there ended up being water all over the floor of the bathroom for the duration of my stay.

The room was dirty, there was hair on the bed, tub and shower. We asked for new sheets and the said they don't clean the room during our stay so we had to put it on ourselves. When opening the beg of new sheets there was a long hair right on top. We showed the front desk and they were not apologetic, all they offered was for someone to come make our bed but refused to actually "clean" the room. Another thing is that the fire place gives off heat at all times, we asked the front desk and they said you can't fully turn it off. Other than that the room was nice.

The front desk did make notes on your reservation about there being hair on your sheets and that someone was sent up to change the sheets and make the bed up for you. There wasn't a mention about the tub and shower having hair in them, as we would have had housekeeping go up to address those issues as well. There may have been some confusion on you wanting maid service vs there being some issues with the cleaning that had taken place prior to your arrival. We do apologize that all of the issues were not addressed.

The hotel sits right on the beach. It was amazing. The room had a jacuzzi tub, fireplace, kitchenette, and balcony that has the BEST ocean veiw you can possibly get! And the price was very reasonable. I will be staying there again in the future for sure!

Overall, I did enjoy by stay. But, the cleanliness did concern me a little. The sinks and drains looked to be very dirty. I also had a situation where I needed to call the front desk about a concern I had about suspicious guests but a) the phone did not work and b) the front desk did not seem to be concerned. Thank you!

I will only stay here from now on. It’s so quiet I can’t ever hear anything from my room. The jacuzzi tub is the best. The view is out of this world. And the bed, bedding and pillows are AMAZING. The double shower heads are extra nice. Wonderful thick towels with robes for two. I just stayed for 3 nights and tried to stay 2 more and they were booked. I was so sad I had to find somewhere else to stay. Nothing compares to the Starfish Manor. Bravo!!

Noticed cracks in the paint in the bathroom, jacuzzi area and cabinets. Also tears in the carpet. Beside that everything else was wonderful! Staff was nice and polite. The view from our room was amazing!

Beautiful room and view. Room 306 needs updates, part of the walls missing and missing paint. Thick dust line around the edge of the room, the shower heads pressure was off spraying everywhere kinda of nightmare to take a shower. We stayed 2 nights and this is the 2nd time we came to this hotel and this stay was not as pleasant, i think they treated me worse since i went with a "third party booking" and booked through Expedia. Not my fault Expedia had better prices. Also sunday night a guest on the 4th floor was screaming from 1am to 2am at least waking us, slamming doors and things screaming running down the halls until she fell i heard her yelling owee then more slamming later until eventually i fell asleep again. 😴 if it werent for the nice rooms with tubes I wouldn't stay again for the price
