MAIN CRITICISM OF THE ROOM IS THE OVER BATH SHOWER. WHOEVER PLANNED PUTTING THE TAPS IN THE CENTRE OF THE BATH AS WELL AS THE WIRE RACK & SOAP DISPENSERS HAS NEVER TRIED TO STAND TAKING A SHOWER IN THE BATH WHILST FIGHTING THE PLASTIC SHOWER SHEET - IT IS DANGEROUS . I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HEAVIER / LARGER PEOPLE MANAGE IT!!. RECEPTION - VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUESTS IE COFFEE NOT TOPPED UP WAS QUICKLY RESOLVED. RESORT AMENITIES: POOLS BEAUTIFUL & WELL MAINTAINED. AQUA PARK GOOD FUN. BARS/RESTAURANTS: MAIN BUFFET BREAKFAST - EXCELLENT FOOD CHOICES BUT VERY BUSY. BEACH BAR - LOVELY DRINKS BUT UNDER STAFFED SO SERVICE CAN BE VERY VERY SLOW!!! SERVICE AT MAIN BAR POOR WHEN ON LOWER LEVEL. FAILED TO BE SERVED OUR DRINKS ON 3 OCCASIONS WHEN ORDERED DOWNSTAIRS. They even took the topper of the mattress bc my brother in law needed the bed more firm. Breakfast was incredible. I felt like I was in a resort with the choices we had. The only minor complaint I have is the lights in the room were a little too dark for me. But such a minor inconvenience and only bc I have poor vision."

It is on the edge of the old town - it is still fully accessible by car or taxi, yet close enough to walk to any areas of interest."

"We loved our stay. I messaged the hotel before arriving about my husbands 40th birthday and they prepared a lovely special welcome for him. It made the stay feel special. The hotel is right by the sea and close to the centre, very walkable. We could also park our car in a secured parking for just 10 eur a day. Would definitely come back here if we ever go back to Chania!"
