The hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment and so there is a bit of disruption to the area around the hotel and a temporary access has been created. However, the refurbished rooms are superb and the staff as always are unfailingly welcoming and helpful

Had asked the hotel before travelling to ensure we had a 2 bed room & we did on arrival. Thanks to Natalie for sorting out. Great room with all facilities you would need. Breakfast very good with good choice. Only criticism was lack of space to sit down at weekends.
Manager's Reception really good, although compared to other Homewood Suites stayed at, food choice seems to have declined.
Nice to have free beer & wine & a nice outdoor patio to enjoy the drinks.
Not a lot to do around the...

Great location from O’Hare airport (about 10 minute taxi ride) and great location to the L-Train (Rosemont - about 15 minute walk away). Staff were super helpful and kind! Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had lots of options.

I was attending a family funeral in the Des Plaines area and stayed in the avid. I’ve been here before and it remains a clean modern hotel. Breakfast has improved a bit since last October with more hot options now.

Room was spacious, converted to two by sliding pocket doors with comfortable king bed one side and bed settee the other. An older hotel that has been updated. Huge tv each end of room, but no mirror! Breakfast was very good, shame they are still using plastic plates and cutlery.

Great experience from start to finish. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was fantastic - I used this multiple times during my stay to both get to the airport to use the L train to get into the city and to then get back to the hotel afterwards. The shuttle runs every 30 mins and the drivers are really friendly and helpful. In particular Bob who was quite a character and a joy to chat with.

Excellent hotel. Great room, bed, pool. Very quiet too. Everything was great except the breakfast, which was very very average. Please, no more paper plates and plastic knives and forks, it's impossible to enjoy eating anything from that except maybe a sandwich on a picnic. Totally environmentally bad too.
