Fantastic staff nothing was to much of a problem for them 5 stars to them (especially Vicky and her daughter Lucy).
Good honest food and well kept beer.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff were so friendly & attentive, the accommodation spotlessly clean & inviting, food very good...couldn't fault anything! We took our new puppy with us & everyone made him more than welcome...an excellent dog friendly venue! The Wheatsheaf Inn is a fab base for visiting the surrounding area. Will definitely return.
Very good staff who were well trained and attentive. Food was fine and good quality. Room was fine if lacking a few refinements such as a chair. Our bed was slightly on the hardside. However we would definitely recommend the Wheatsheaf. It has charm and well located for walks to Askrigg and Aysgarth Falls.
We had 4 days at the Wheatsheaf to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A lovely little hotel /pub. Very comfortable room and cosy bar and restaurant area. Food was good and breakfast substantial. Staff were friendly and helpful. Carperby is a quiet village but still easy to get to.
The staff were all excellent and the accomodation was Ok. It was sole occupancy for one night and the room was quite small. There was a single bed and I struggled with the small duvet.
The evening meal and breakfast were superb. If I go again I would upgrade to a double room to avoid the sleeping issues and cramped surroundings.
Full of character and Yorkshire delight. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed every minute we spent there. All staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help.
Perfect place to stay and the food is fantastic.
Would highly recommend staying here.
Stayed for two nights for my birthday to have a trip round the dales and the service was tremendous and the food was very nice .I would stay here again
It is a lovely setting. Our room was rather small, but adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, and hot! The bed was too soft for us,.
As soon as we arrived through the door we was greeted with a smile and taken care of, nothing was to much trouble she had an answer before you asked a question , she was lovely unfortunately I didn’t take her name but I think she was the manager ,, breakfast was fabulous ingredients spot on, extra toast before we even asked her , I’m happy because I love my toast in a morning 😂🙈.. I would definitely stay here again it’s in a quiet rural location , great for us because we had our bikes and had a long cycle ride , great value for the money x
