"It’s in downtown, easy stroll from the boat dock, bike rental place right around the corner. Breakfast wasn’t your ordinary “continental “ breakfast. There are 2 shared bathrooms on the 2nd floor and never even saw anyone using or waited for one. Not a problem at all which honestly was our biggest concern. Terrific staff, and location was perfect"
"The room smelled pretty bad, could not enjoy the balcony at all. It was covered with flies that are local. They don’t bite but not worth opening door for. Cleaning services was very average didn’t give us more tissue. My son had stained the sheets with fruit and wasn’t changed. Staff wasn’t friendly but helpful when asked questions. Just seems hospitality wasn’t really there."
"This Victorian hotel is just the experience I would want on Mackinac Island! The rooms were decorated as a Victorian home should be. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great! Not sure why the paid coffee bar wasn't open earlier?? Would love to return!"
"It looked like someone had stayed there and it was not cleaned before our arrival. There were all sorts of home improvement tools on porch. Totally fine with all of that being there, just thought I was sting in a daily weekly rental. Absolutely loved the shower!"
"What started as an overnight stopover ended up being a very enjoyable 5 day stay. The room we chose, a pet friendly one, had been completely remodeled, all modernized and immaculate. The grounds are well kept and plenty of room to walk our dog. The staff was courteous and pleasant and they have a very nice breakfast. We are budget conscious as seniors, so we were very pleased with the price. It's an extra $30 for the dog but we'll worth it. St Ignace was fun to explore while staying there. The owners are working hard to update and remodel. We'll be back!"
"Loved sitting on the porch & watching the boats come & go in the harbor. Quiet wonderful room. We ate breakfast in the attached restaurant, they say us at the center window with the best view! The service & staff were all awesome. Highly recommend."
"An incredible view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island from our room. Nice dinner menu at The Club, the restuarant on site. Facilities were very clean and our room was delightfully decorated."
