Great location, 20 minutes walk from train station. Quiet, although literally just yards from canals and shops. Good continental style breakfast.

My daughter and I have just returned from a 3 night break here. The hotel is lovely, the property itself is beautiful, the location is perfect next to the canal, an easy walk from the station and in a quiet part of Leiden but within 5 mins of the centre. Our room on the second floor was stunning, very cosy. The best part of the stay was the staff, always polite, attentive and knowledgeable. Their English was great and they went the extra mile keeping us stocked up with English breakfast tea !

Everything at the Intercity hotel Leiden was perfect. The staff were brilliant always very willing to help, check in and out were simple and quick. My room was very clean and quiet and the bed and shower were great. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc). Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre.

Staff are multi-lingual very helpful. Gluten free options if you ask. Breakfast gluten free rolls were yummy. Beautifully decorated in Rubens restaurant for the festive season.

Check in was very pleasant with the staff taking the time to explain and answer my questions. The rooms were recently renovated (I think), clean and comfortable. The window could open which I appreciated for fresh air

Hotel in perfect position 2 minutes walk into rail and bus station, 5 minutes into City centre, 15 minutes to the University. Staff so helpful at check in, printing out boarding passes for us. Breakfast exceptionally good choice and refreshed readily. Good value for money. Cheaper alternatives 5 minutes walk away for those on a tighter budget. Air conditioning very efficient. A little bit of luxury after a long day's cycling. The room was superb, facilities excellent (including secure storage for bikes) and the restaurant first rate.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Leiden not far from railway station and restaurants.

The hotel is excellent. It is very close to the railway station and thus should be convenient to walk into the historic city centre. However, there is no through route through the station (unless you hold a Dutch public transport card) so you have to walk round; the routes are not well marked and there is no signage for the hotel if you are on the wrong side of the station. For these reasons, I would not pick this hotel again - there are a number of others on the 'city' side of the station...

Staff was very helpful and friendly

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Food options were limited, but everything we tried was really good. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful building, very nicely decorated and cosy interior. Excellent location to walk around the town and close to the station. Nice bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with an excellent shower. Great breakfast buffet and good coffee. I loved it !

The hotel was located very close to the train and bus station in a nice quiet street. It was about a 10 minute walk to city centre. The hotel was nicely decorated, very very clean and a delight to stay in. Breakfast was good, dinner was on the small side but good. The only thing we didn’t like was the lighting- we found the room quite dark and it was difficult to read in.
