Hidden Gem - Fantastic, location, place and Host !

My elderly father & I stayed at Matina's Residence over Easter. From the moment I booked the accommodation til well after our departure, the host - Yiannis - could not have been more helpful. He responded to all queries, helped us out while we were there, met us to give us the keys during his Easter lunch (!!). He really did go over and above which made our short stay unforgettable. Sincerely appreciated all of Yiannis' help. His place is excellent. Great for entertaining as it has a large living area + balcony and is beach front with a beautiful vista ! Location was perfect, we were able to access, shops + all of our family & friends who are on the east side of the island.. very easy to get around. I would definitely stay there again & encourage family, friends & anyone travelling there to do the same. Thank you Yiannis !

Non fidatevi della parola LUXURY!!!

Le "precauzioni" adottate nell'intento di contrastare l'infezione da Covid non possono consistere nel lasciare un solo rotolo di carta igienica, cambiare asciugamani ed effetti letterecci ogni 5 giorni e non fare pulire la stanza almeno una volta in 13 giorni! La struttura di definisce "luxury" non capisco sulla base di che cosa, visto che non è previsto nemmeno un personale fisso ma solo su chiamata telefonica. In conclusione il soggiorno dal pdv alberghiero anche per la scarsissima dotazione dell'angolo cottura ( non un cavatappi, un bricco che non sia microscopico, una padella decente, un imbuto, dei mestoli almeno di plastica rigida, un numero sufficiente di posate in modo da non essere costretti a lavare quelle DUE forchette, quei DUE coltelli e quei DUE cucchiai ogni volta che si mangia!) è stato davvero scomodo.

Excellent 3 Story building next to a quiet lagoon.

This residence was more like a house than a hotel and had very comfortable rooms with balcony and a short 50meter walk to the beach. Yannis, the manager, was very helpful and gave some great tips for places to eat and go near the hotel.
