Peaceful bliss but a great location with lots going on as well. I travelled to a lot of Switzerland from Morgins as a beautiful base. I could easily have spent the day on my hotel balcony drowning on the pure mountain air, listening to the cow bells and the chairlift opposite. Owner & wife delightful and helpful along with great staff. Home cooked evening meals available which were excellent but also lots of restaurants available for a change of scene. I might be making it all sound...

Only a 5 min walk from the train station.
Greeted by friendly staff with a smile.
Our room was bigger than expected on the 1st floor. Balcony was a bonus with great views of the Alps and the village of Les Diablerets.
Shower was amazing extra powerful.
Wide selection for breakfast ( 10 franc ) self service was delicious.
Hotel is well located for all of the local bars and restaurants as well as the free bus shuttle to Glacier 3000 which was the purpouse of our weekend stay.

Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. However, staff were able to move us to a different room for our second night which was appreciated. Hotel and restaurant were full on Christmas Eve. I was...

Location was fantastic and beautiful classic hotel with helpful staff. The pool/garden arrangement is odd and dated (and costs โฌ30 a day if not included) not being able to access the promenade directly from the hotel was frustrating - a huge missed opportunity for them not to open all that up as restaurant/bar - I would flip the pool to the terrace! Anyway it was good and would go again

Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. The rooms are to a high standard, despite being a little on the small side. However, the addition of a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains more than made up for the rooms size.

I donโt usually write reviews but felt compelled to write about le grand chalet. Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Great views, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast (included, how refreshing!), fabulous wine list, helpful transportation service. Special thanks to Carol for all the advice, help with bookings, and making us feel so welcome; and to Charles for making the logistics of getting to/from Ski slopes and town so seamless. This was our first time to le grand chalet. We are already...

The evening member of staff who welcomed us late on Sunday 10 February she really went the extra mile, she assisted in helping two very weary travellers get something to eat when everywhere appeared to be closed. The delivery pizza was very welcome at 23.00. She was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond her duties.
