Delighted to find this hotel so close to the sea , we had an excellent day swimming and diving here!

Beautifully lush, landscaped gardens frame this luxurious designer hotel. Rooms are each set in a generous space and are thoughtfully designed and well appointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast in a smart, airy dining room looking out over the gardens. Nice pool and bar with Happy Hour. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We booked Hotel Vecchia Fonte after reading guests ratings, and then had serious worries that we had got it wrong this time. We worried that Palau was a small town but not a quaint old Sardinian town, by a car park, busy port with ferry boats, but all of our worries were unfounded. Palau is easy to get to from Olbia airport, the hotel very easy to find. The town is a fairly basic small town, but there is some interesting typical Sardinian architecture. Palau is a happy place - there are...

This was a superb hotel as a base for our 5 night trip. Although situated just outside the main town it is excellent value for money whilst offering a high standard. The rooms are extremely spacious and the whole of the hotel is modern, airy and welcoming. The restaurant is situated on the top floor with lovely views of the mountains and the breakfast offering was plentiful and delicious. A big shout out to Fabrice, the restaurant manager, who was so very friendly and helpful in giving us...

Huge room. New hotel. Easy walk to town and beach. Nothing to do with the hotel - you have to reserve a place on the beach.

Really nice hotel - the room was spotless clean, the staff were friendly and attentive. Great location too - close to supermarkets, local bakeries and other amenities, as well as the nicest beaches of the south. Approx. 10min walking distance from the Marina, 20min walk from Old Town and 20 - 30min drive from beaches. A wide choice of breakfast options available each morning. Each room is east facing and has a view of the garden, swimming pool and the sea in the distance. Every Thursday they...

Excellent suite with stunning views, spacious, Could have had extra lounger with seat pads

Clean hotel with a lovely rooftop pool. Close to Bastia by car. Perfect for a few nights.

Easy to check, high quality room. Would stay again

This property is okay for a last minute one night stay as it is tired and worn out. Our toilet seat was very loose, the shower door didn't fit properly and sleeping on the waterproof undersheet was delightful! We were unable to sit out on our terrace area as the bushes were overgrown and it was crawling with ants. It's overpriced for what you get.

NICE ACCOMMODATION FOR 3 WITH THE UPPER MEZZANINE FLOOR NO TEA MAKING FACILITIES A DISAPPOINTMENT. GOOD LOCATION. FOR WALKING TO TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AND RESTAURANTS.

We both loved the setting, the surroundings and the proportion of our accommodations. Well designed, spacious bedroom and ensuite with a large and private covered terrace, like an outside living room. Breakfast was served by the owner on our terrace and was both plentiful and delicious. The pool and loungers were ideal for a morning swim or post beach dip. Town was a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk which was so convenient, just close enough with all the facilities of a bustling tourist hub,...

Great accomodation. Friendly staff. Awesome breakfasts. Room cleaning immaculate. Location is fantastic too, close to the coach park, to the main centre and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. My only one criticism is that the hotel amenities state "guest access to outdoor pool" but this is not the case and so Expedia is misleading. There is no access to a pool. There is a private club pool I found about 10 minutes walk away which was great but you have to pay club membership and then about ...

Really pleased with the hotel and staff, friendly and accommodating. Good location with shops, restaurants and the beach. There is free parking as well.
