Beautiful room & view, but the fire place was faulty, turning on & off by itself and there was no hot water. The night of May 23rd, the front desk manager told me he would send up maintenance, but no one came. I called back & the machine was full, so I couldn't leave a message. The next morning the front desk said they'd send someone again, but no one came. I waited over an hour. Then the front desk gave me the Strip View Suites contact, so I filled out a complaint. When they emailed me back they asked me to explain further & take pics (how do you take pics of no hot water?), but I was out with my family enjoying Vegas at the time & couldn't. When I got back after 10pm we called front desk because the SVS hotline was closed after 10pm. Finally they sent maintenance. He was able to fix the fireplace, but said the shower needed a filter change & he wasn't allowed to touch it unless a work order had been placed & approved. He said it would take a day to get approved & I would be checked out already. So we didn't get hot water those two nights & we were also told that a water pipe broke on Mon. May 23rd. The Palms Place eventually told me it wasn't their problem, but it was the Strip View Suites & owner's responsibility, & the SVS only sent one email during my stay. The lack of communication & pawning off of responsibilities instead of taking care of the guest was so unprofessional & frustrating. I should've been given a new room/hotel or partially refunded for my inconvenience.:(
