The property its self is beautiful and loved the decor and layout of our standard room. We didn’t like the construction going on next to our room upon check in and called to voice our concern. The drilling stopped and we went off to our show. The hotel called and said our request for a smoking room was ready. We never requested a smoking room and don’t desire one ever. The restaurants were decent, good service but a little slow despite not being busy. We enjoyed the top level free glass of Champagne, the dress code is very much enforced and we had to change our shoes(no Birkenstocks or Kenneth Cole slides). At 9am the construction started up again, voiced our unhappiness to front desk and they offered to wave our Resort fee($45) which was nice.
The pool area is really nice! Could use some umbrellas or shade tho, we didn’t last long and its not even summer yet.
