Could be a lot better…

First impressions were disappointing - the living room was sparse with a dirty rug and a cupboard with a handle missing. The kitchen could do with a lick of paint, while shower is okay for people under 5ft as the pole which holds the shower head was broken. The hooks on the back of the door were also hanging off. Also, no info of where to eat and places of interest locally. However, the bedrooms were nice and comfy with tasteful decor. Lancaster is a lovely place and this stay-over could be and should be so much better!!!

i am 2 hours wait hotel out side this hotel is scam me and my wife my daughter 3 years age only my daughter i am to much time call hotel phone number no working phone number all number is wrong number i am after 1 hour check stay boom all close i am full night stay car in side i am no happy no enjoy i am Quickly this scam police and court all proof my phone photos

Reasonable for the price

The positives - property was clean, kids liked it, street parking was convenient, price was reasonable. The negatives - some important shortcomings were - there was only one toilet roll for booking of a family of four for 3 nights, the extractor in kitchen was not working, coffee pods were useless because the water reservoir in the coffee machine was not working.

Did not get to stay as was ment to have a code to into the place and never got sent and ignored emails and phone caĺls i was waiting outside the property four a hour in the end had to travel all the way back home

Bathroom sink partially blocked since check in.No one came to sort it out inspite of reporting. Stairs to upstairs is steep and slippery.Health hazard risk of sleeping.No hand railing on main wall for support

Freezing cold

The property was absolutely freezing. It felt like the heating hadn't been on for ages and after we switched it on it never really got to a suitable temperature. We have a small child so travel with a thermometer and after the heating had been on for forty minutes the temperature in the front bedroom was only 7°C. Terrible night's sleep due to the temperature. Also dirty in places.

Do not stay here - uncontactable hosts

We arrived for check in and quickly dropped bags off and then went for a night out in Lancaster to celebrate. Once we returned we quickly found that the electricity in the house wasn’t working. We tried the obvious such as checking the fusebox and unplugging items to see if these were tripping the circuit but there was no luck. No electricity meant that the heating hadn’t come on and there was no hot water. We had to walk around the house via the torches on our phone. We tried the contact number for the host but this number was turned off with no option to leave a voicemail. We tried multiple times to message via hotels.com and have been ignored. I have also tried addressing this with hotels.com who say it’s an issue between ourselves and the property owner despite the property owner ignoring all communication. Overall this ruined the night away for us all and being ignored by the host has left a bad taste in our mouth. We would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.
