Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hotel Timila. The staff were so helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was seamless. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed hanging out at the terrace too. Stone’s throw away from Patan Durbar Square.
The restaurant downstairs is excellent.
We had to leave early hours to catch the bus to Pokhara, they made us packed breakfast to bring along. 5-star hospitality. Thank you team Hotel Timila. See you next time :)

A lovely stay in Kathmandu - the staff made our large group feel like family. In particular a shout out to Pasang who couldn’t have been more kind or helpful!

Had a fantastic stay in the Dalai-La. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and the hotel is lovely. We were on honeymoon and stayed in a luxurious suite with lovely touches and an enormous comfy bed. The courtyard is such a nice place to spend time and the food is really good. We really enjoyed the live music in the evenings too. Highly recommend for those wanting a retreat in the middle of the bustle, and a bit of luxury without the ridiculous price tag.

The new mangement of this small hotel have created a welcoming, safe and comfortable home away from home. Renovations are substantially complete. The garden provides a quiet oasis for visiting with friends, reading, having a snack or meal. I stayed in one of the boutique rooms which overlooks the garden. It was quiet and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed.....and very clean.

There r two sides to a coin and I feel for a review to be complete, both shld be captured.
So the bright side first :)
1. The hotel has an old world elegance in the heart of Kathmandu.
2. Well manicured spacious garden with a nice clean pool adjoining it. Some suites give a lovely view of the same.
3. Sumptuous food.....many cuisines....breakfast spread is wonderful.
4. Has family rooms also, with twin queen beds which accommodate upto 4 persons.
