Pricey for what you get. Overall, the Tiki was a fun stay. It was kitschy but that's what we signed up for and we loved the vibe. Our rooms had what looked like new carpet and new vanities in the bathroom, but the tub/shower had someone else's body hair in it when I checked in. The entire building could use a deep clean and a face lift, and some of the key swipe access pads weren't working. Check in was slow so we were glad we beat the Friday check-in rush! The bar hours weren't great but I imagine that's due to a lack of staffing. However the bartender was a super sweet lady and we had fun chatting with her while she made our drinks. Note: there is no bathroom convenient to the pool area so plan accordingly. Further, if you need to use the bathroom while the bar is closed, you'll have to walk around to the front of the hotel and go through the lobby or just go back to your room. We didn't get to use the indoor pool because the key swipe pad wouldn't work to let us in, though we were assured that it was open. The outdoor pool was overrun by screaming children so if you're looking for a quiet place to relax, you'll want to look elsewhere. BUT, this is to be expected when you go to a family vacation destination in the ADK region. If you have kids and aren't a stickler for tidiness and functionality, this is a great spot. Walking distance to just about everything.
