Staff was very helpful and property has a small gym and a pool. Rooms have a mini fridge which was helpful. Room was missing hand soap and it seemed like the shower had not been cleaned.
Love the updates to Sparks at Hilton, new carpet and fresh paint and furniture. Breakfast offered is great. Our room was clean and ready. The trash was left under the sink cabinet but as soon as I told the staff it was removed. We loved the Zero products hand soap, lotion and shower gel. But, the shower gel was almost empty - of course we brought our own.
We will stay again next year.
This property has both HIlton and Clarion in the name. If you go expecting Clarion, you will like it just fine. The only real HIlton touch is the indoor pool and hot tub, which were excellent.
Clean and modern looking place.
It was perfect for one night stay
We were in the ground floor and we were able to open the patio door and sit outside a beautiful sit out
We needed a night stay in the area and booked here. Upon arrival, the computer system was down, but the staff was very helpful in getting us manually checked in. The breakfast was a little disappointing as there was no hot options, but there was fruit yogurt and some bagels. Overall, it was a good experience we would go back.
This was a nice clean, albeit Spartan, hotel. The continental breakfast was okay but we also went to Starbucks next door. We only stayed here for one night before moving to a nicer in-town hotel, however, that was twice as expensive. So, if you’re on a budget, this is a good choice.
The refrigerator was useless -didn’t get cold enough and had no freezer. Had medication that needed frozen packs for so unable to use. Had to go out and buy a cooler.
Room was nice
Swimming pool was nice
Whirlpool was great

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I did not have a good experience. I reserved a king room but was told there was a computer glitch and there weren't any available. Was unable to sleep as folks were running up and down the halls all night and rattling the door. The good- room was clean and bed was comfortable. But will not return to this hotel.
We stayed during the soft opening. Pool was open hot tub was not. Part of the hotel was still under renovation. Sliding door to patio had issues. Otherwise nice stay, decent breakfast. We weren't at the hotel only to sleep pretty much.
Bed was comfortable, AC worked great. Staff checked us in very quickly & was professional. We didn’t have time to use the pool, I didn’t see a hot tub.😢 Breakfast offered, bagels (4/5 flavors) muffins, yogurt, Cereal (4 kinds) coffee, ect. Everything was very good. We stayed in room 104, if you want quiet then try to stay away from this room. It is very noisy. We had killed 6 flys that somehow were in our room when we got there. ( I really struggled with that) other then that everything went good.
I had an issue with the original room having been used by a smoker and they apologized and found me a room that was fresh. The parking is plentiful and the 24-hour coffee, tea etc. was nice. The breakfast was perfect for my needs. I like cereal, bagels and yogurt along with fresh fruit bowl. Others in my group wanted eggs, sausage and bacon which were not available. The continental breakfast was fine for most people, and the seating was ample for the crowd that assembled in the morning. I used the fitness center which had dumbbells, treadmill and stationary bike. The pool was average size and so was the hot tub. They had guest laundry, but I did not use it. The desk staff were friendly and tried their best to address any issues. The house cleaning staff did not clean the rooms as deeply as one would expect. There were hairs in tub and sink. Overall, they did an okay job, but someone should be inspecting the rooms after cleaning to make sure they are 100% ready for the guests. That's why I gave the 4/5 stars.
We enjoyed our stay! I could easily walk to all the outlets. Everything was in close proximity to us. The hotel was very nice and clean. Will stay the next time we are in Lake George!
