"When I arrived nobody was at reception or anywhere. I selected my own my room after 10 minutes of trying to find someone. Lights constantly flickered, no drinking water, no towel, no soap. Breakfast was disgusting and they only take cash payment. Which was not written anywhere."

"We couldn't stay at Precious lodge. When we arrived at the lodge, receptionist didn't have any record of our stay, after receiving the full payment.
The room alocated to us was absolutely disgusted and neglected. The were moods in the room. Every pieces of furniture in the room were broken. The bedding wasn't good. Old and over used bed sheet. The bathroom was filthy. The bath towel was old and wrecked.
The manager of the property was not supported to us. I spoke to him on many occassion...

"Old, unkempt facility. furniture in the room is old, decrepit and broken. Entrance to the facility is unappealing to a first-time visitor. One has the impression the place is an unabandoned building with no visible security presence. Needed a confirmation from a passer by before entering. Charging over GHS3,000 (USD243) for two nights was a complete rip-off. "

"This ended up being a scam. Hotels.com prevented me from cancelling the reservation after I determined it was a scam, so I booked another hotel through another service. I ultimately traveled to Sapphire Court and attempted to view the residence but i was turned away, and told that it was a scam because Sapphire Court would never lease rooms on the internet.
Needless to say, if i hadn't booked an alternative room after realizing this was a scam, Hotels.com would have left me homeless in...
