Room was clean and well appointed though the shower was a little tricky for us middle-aged westerners - sorry! Absolutely amazing view of the castle. I wished we had asked or been made aware of the hotel amenities upon check in because there were a few we should have taken advantage if. The bell captain was amazing! And the shuttle to the station a big plus. Will def keep this hotel in mind for future trips.

Ana Crown Plaza Hotel is located in a quite area and is not far from Kyoto main train station. We like this lovely hotel because the friendly and knowledgeable of Bell Captains- answered our questions and provided great recommendations of places to visit and the hotel is neat and provides great breakfast buffet. Moreover, the majestic Nijo Castle is just cross street of the hotel.

The staff was very attentive and the lobby was huge. I loved the size of our rooms very western size. The hotel rooms just need an update.

Convenient stay

This hotel is kind of old but the location is very convenient. You can just walk within 5 minutes to Nijo-jo castle.

Fabulous helpful staff - great location - 2 mins from train - lots of small restaurants close by - my friends rec lunch @ French place in sSt beside hotel- good to c eco policy for linen - rare in Japan - will be back
