Very relaxing surroundings and variety of different cuisines in the main restaurant . Great customer service. They brought a chocolate cake and candles to our room for my boyfriend’s birthday. "Our room with a/c and ceiling fan, contained a large bed, tables, chairs, fridge, kettle and sink with separate toilet/ wet room. Settee outside on the verandah, large ground space from where you can view the sea, restaurant, promenade. Nice helpful staff. "

"We have been to this resort several times and always have a wonderful stay. Breakfast is amazing - looking out over the pool to the sea never gets old - and the service and items available at breakfast are fantastic. Reception is good and helpful, the gym is good (if a little too warm) and all staff are very friendly. The only minor gripe is that we always stay in the deluxe suites 402 this time, but the other ones on other ocassions (which are all very comfortable) but none of the fridges in these rooms are cold enough. Our friends stayed in one of the other rooms and their fridge worked properly. "

"Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. "

" Overall good experience Couple of noteworthy items 1. Misleading listing Beach is NOT PRIVATE 2. Shipping Port The port right next to the hotel with the ongoing construction work (which went on even through the night) is noisy and is a blotch on an otherwise scenic sea view experience"
