"We love staying at the Kingsbury. It feels like home. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The staff are always professional and super friendly. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy, (although we had to cancel a night’s stay last minute.) The buffet breakfasts and dinners are sensational! Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back! "

"Probably, if not the best hotel in Colombo. I was assigned to a room that faces the sea as well as Biera Lake. The hotel, which is also accessible through one of the largest mall is a huge bonus. This gives plenty of options for food. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Certainly will return if I’m headed back to Colombo. "

"At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant - good quality and nice food. Overall, I would say “faded glory” in style and character - may not stay again here."
