"pros : cheap and clean cons : • this was by far my worst experience in Japan during my one month stay. When I booked (one day before my planned check-in), the manager demanded to know at what time I was planning to check in. I was surprised but happily obliged and gave him/her the precise time (4 pm). The check-in happens in another place (15 min away by foot) which is a guesthouse. I went there by 4 pm and found no one (even though it is mentioned everywhere that check-in time is between 4 pm...

"Clear and nice place"

"Utterly charming room, very comfortable beds, and in a lovely location just minutes’ walk from the central city. "

"Check in compliqué. Petit. Pas de place pour cuisiner. Stationnement difficile"

"The property is well within walking distance to main shopping, train station, bus stops. It is on a quiet street. "

"The price is for sleep only. But it was good enough for me. The place is close to the station and very convenient."

"Nice place. And super clean!!!"

"The room is very clean and suitable and great amenities for small group people (4 to 6 people). Very spacious. "

"Get property, very clean and welcoming "

"PrimeRoom 別府 菊 was the best stay we had in our whole trip. We hoped we could spend more nights in this room to enjoy the area, hotspring and interior facilities. Everything was great and recommended for families. Thank you. "

"Overall, a pleasant stay in a modest, nicely-equipped self-catering apartment with good communication and information from the owner. Conveniently close to the Beppu station and main shops in a quiet street. The layout of the apartment is a little unusual, but not a problem. However, there is a 30cm-high step between the living/bedroom area and the kitchen/bathroom area, and this would definitely be a problem for anyone with mobility issues."

"Absolutely loved this place. Very efficient use of the space and still felt spacious. Convenient, walkable and quiet. Loved this place and the decor. There was no luggage drop off and the check in was no earlier than 3pm which was a slight income and the check out process wasn’t as smooth as possible but those are minor compared to the value of the overall suite. Highly recommend."

"가격대비 ok 시설이 너무 낡았지만, 있을것은 다 있네요. 추천하기는 좀 그래요."

"Great location close to Beppu Station. Lots of restaurant options around and an easy bus ride up to the hells of Beppu."

"Beds were comfortable."
