"We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small. The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze. There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. We were able to hop into a rickshaw for shops, ATM and bird sanctuary. There is table tennis and other games. Nice food and attentive staff, sometimes a lottle too attentive when you wanted to eat a meal in peace. Room service was excellent "

"Very nice, very helpful staff. Lovely property—especially the villas with private pools. Good gym, good restaurant. Only downside is that it’s pretty isolated with not a lot to do nearby. But if relaxation is what you want, you’ll get it."

"From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. This is paradise. We only had 24 hours but they were the most relaxing. The people, facilities, food, drinks and the whole experience was exceptional! We were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it special!! Anju, Vasha and so many others (wish I knew their names) were wonderful. "

"Ripples Resort made our Kerala vacation. The food, service, and accommodations were all excellent. We stayed for five nights. We had a bungalow near the canal. It was spacious, with a big living room, a bedroom, a small dressing area (I think), and an outdoor shower. It felt peaceful and private. We did yoga on the last three days. I wish we’d started earlier. Deepa, the instructor, checked in with us and built routines that worked for our level. I’m not usually into yoga, but I looked forward to it each morning. The food was everything I’d hoped for—authentic Kerala dishes, full of flavor. One morning, I even got to try sweet toddy. That was a treat. There were bugs, but picaridin saved the day. I've stayed in other resorts in the area. I'm going back to this place."

"What a beautiful resort this was. We stayed there for our anniversary trip. The staff from welcome to dinning to housekeeping were are super warm and friendly. And, they did an amazing job making us feel extra special - especially with all the decorations for our room and helping plan a beautiful candle light dinner. The view from our villa was gorgeous. The only icky thing was that since pool area is also surrounded with tropical plants, there were some bugs from the plants n all that would be floating in the pool. "

"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"

"A beautiful property that is 160 years old staffed by lovely people. Everyone was helpful - especially with local attractions and booking boat tours. Breakfast was good. The pool is good but could use a clean and currently there are no loungers - due to be replaced soon. The owners are building a restaurant on site which will be a great addition."
