"This traditional Japanese Inn is thoroughly modern with excellent facilities, rooms, Michelin quality food, and helpful staff. We want to call out ‘Mikki’ who was super kind and helped us with any language barriers we had. The entire restaurant staff was amazing and we are grateful to meet the chef. The onsens were also wonderful. A room here with breakfast and dinner included is an excellent value."

"easy check in despite limited English of staff. we arrived early in the morning and room was not ready. staff was able to lock our luggage and provided us with a map of the local area. there are some trails to the local shrine. room was great! extremely clean and cosy. outdoor bath and shower were great. checked out the public bath as well which was very clean and well maintained. "Wonderful stay. Lovely kaiseki dinner. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The hot spings were clean and very relaxing after a long day walking and driving. Oh and the view from the room in the morning across the valley was stunning"

"Apologies that we arrived late at hotel an hour after the dinner time. Thanks hotel owner offered to servie us late dinner! We stayed at hotel for 2 days with half-boarding. The room was exceptionally clean, modern and equipped with all amenities. They served varieties of teas and desserts in room. We loved their tea congee, and chicken hot pot. So glad we chose to stay with them to explore Yoshino! Definitely a 5-star! Highly recommended! "

"Excellent place to stay! Great views and a true traditional Japanese Ryokan. The garden is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. The building is quite old and full of history which adds to the charm. Would stay again. "
