Tsim Sha Tsui area was a great place to stay since it has lot of shops around it and means of transportation is easy. For the hostel, the price is cheap compared to other hostels but don't expect too much on the room size. As in sakto lang yung bed with own cr sa loob ng room. I got dismayed on the elevator since it can only carry 7 people so you need to wait for quiet sometime in the queue. On the lobby a lot of proactive Indians will block you and offer you accommodations and sim cards which I find annoying. Also the food of the stands selling on the lobby has strong smell. The caretaker was accommodating and friendly so we got no problem with our stay in the guest house.

What a rip off there!!! Stay away in this place
Normaly I don't write a lot off revieuws but this I really wanna write down. The building got a lot off guest houses and so far I know there are three blocks. To got there you need to cue up got get a ride in the evelator to go up, so I did. When I arrived at the Holland guesthouse door(they said i can leave my bags here), I find out that I need to check in at one off the other blocks, so cue again for go down and go up again. Than at the check in I need to pay 100 hkd deposit for the key!!!! I still didn't got cash... so up and down again to fix that and yeaaaah cue again. When I fixed the deposit the give me the key from the room in the same block on the 17th floor(the elevator only goes until the 15th floor) so I need to go down again to get my bags in the Holland Guesthouse cue again to go up and down. So after more than 1,5 hours I arrived in my room to find out it was very smelly room stinky and not good cleaned. I booked the two beds room with a window but the gave me a room without a window.... and they didnt wanna change it because they said no rooms avalible. During my 3 days stay I found out the stolen money out off one off my wallets with other tender than HK dollars. They said not responsible, but how that can there staff got keys to come in and out the room as mutch they want... OK report to police.When I checked out they said one off the used towels where to dirty the ask to pay 50 HKD extra and they also keep the 100 HKD. Please stay away there is a trap

Good service but really inadequate facilities. Toilet did not flush and was moved to a room that we did not book. Overall fine experience but pictures are extremely deceiving.

More broken than not
Toilet didn't work properly, my 60 sq ft room had no window, while cleanish room was not ever cleaned the week I stayed. Beware entrance arcade is like Calcutta and elevators do not run all night.

Decent hostel in Chung King Mansions
This is a budget hostel so set your expectations accordingly. Room was clean and had working AC and a decent quiet wall fan. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom (wet room) was a let down - floor was constantly wet and drain blocked. The staff were nice, welcoming and friendly.

Best budget place to stay around Tsim Tsa Shui
Affordable but not spacious. Good enough for backpackers who would be spending most of their time outside exploring Hong Kong while having a simple place to put their stuffs and sleep.

Tiny but clean and safe - recomended
The room is very tiny, but other options in the area are even smaller. One thing that sets this place apart from others is cleanliness. Room is very small but you feel comfortable and safe. Great thanks for Sukhi, he keeps eye for this part of guesthouse we stayed, does daily house keeping, he is very kind and nice. One thing to be noted, the main reception is not in Block D, but in Block C 14 floor. You can find great and cheap indian food at the ground floor, very recomended.

I knew the rooms would be insufferably tiny, but I at least wanted clean bed sheets!! Our sheets had black hairs all over them and smelled like sweat. We payed online before arriving, so we had to stay two horrible nights. On the second day, someone had gone into our room, taken our wet towels off the wall hooks and folded them up and put them on our beds. Gross!! I think they were trying to trick us into thinking they were giving us new towels. Also, I could tell they also went through my stuff/clothes that I had left on the bed. Ughhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TINY ROOM. this is the whole thing. There's no space on the other side of the bed - the wall meets the mattress on three sides. Maybe it'd be ok if it wasn't SO dirty.

Only issue I had was that the room was incredibly small, I realise it's Hong Kong but this is something else. If your above 5.8ft you won't be able to fit the bed, I had to sleep diagonally. Other than the small size it is definitely worth a visit. The staff are excellent and attend your every need. I cannot fault the hotel other than room size/bed size!

Awesome and cheap place to stay
Areyan was very nice during our stay. Few issues i noticed when i stayed to that place were the smell on the elevator and how to find the location. Everything thing else was fine. MTR is very accessible. I would advise to look for the grocery store cause vendors on that place rise up prices like bottled water. Awesome restaurants with great prices are also near that location. You just need to explore the area.

A walk away from everything
The Holland Guest House was a great experience all around. It was a walk away from restaurants, the subway, and the harbor. There's a mall directly across the street and the Rodeo Dr of Hong Kong was a few blocks away. Mon Kok's outdoor shopping, where you should do all your shopping, was a quick subway ride away. The room I had was the largest with 2 double beds. The a/c worked great and quickly cooled down the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The bathroom was a small all in one, meaning it had no separate shower stall. But my friends and I were able to keep our stuff dry. The room was cleaned daily if you wanted it. The staff was friendly, but sometimes absent when you arrived to check in, so have a phone number ready to call if they don't answer the door when you get there. Also, on your reservation it says to go to block D, that is incorrect. Go to block C, up to the 13th floor and to C4. There were no signs anywhere that said Holland Guest House, hopefully when you go they will have changed that. Also it is located in a large building with a lot of stores, restaurants, and other hostels and inns. You will be asked on several occasions to purchase items and stay in other hostels/inns while walking straight back to block C. I found that smiling and saying no thank you while continuing to walk forward was efficient. I would go back to the Holland Guest House in the future if I make it back to the Hong Kong. The price, location, and rooms are unbeatable

erm quite a nice service from them, friendly and helpful.fridge inside the room also convenience. quite a small room but it is ok for u if just for sleep. but really donr like the environment of the building, many foreign workers are promote their business and like hi beauty, dont suggest for alone stay especially for girl.

si usted esta buscando un alojamiento en Hong kong, recuerde bien esta dirección, Nathan Road 36-44, Kowloon, no tome ningún hotel con esta dirección, al menos que este dispuesto a recibir en algunos caso un trato vejatorio por algunas personas de la recepción, a estar en un alojamiento muy deprimente y con conexiones eléctricas inseguras, esto no se puede llamar hotel, los portales de reserva deberían prohibir alojar a personas en esta dirección

The staff and manager are very kind and friendly. Overall, I am satisfied with the hotel service. Chungking Mansions is an old mansion, I like those people who misunderstood that don't make a fair comment. The rooms on the upper floors do have advantages. But as a budget hotel, it has a security locker, a private washroom, and digital door access, which is really hard to ask for, especially in budget hotels like these.

最初の部屋はホランドゲストハウスではなかった。 テレビは故障しており、　窓もなかった。 テレビがないと、デモの状況や天気がわからないと困る。 無料のウォーターボトルがサービスであるとなっていたが、　一度もなかった。　　ペットボトルが予約の決め手になったのに、　ガッカリ。
