"Lovely stay the hotel was very lovely nice staff very clean and lovely pool and grounds. Bentota was very quiet tho no beach bars restaurants nearby accessible from the beach. But there was more in town if you want to venture out. Drawback was the noise from the train its horn sounds intermittently from around 5am but that didn’t seem to bother others as much as us. If you like a beer have a few in your fridge for the moon festivals x "

"The location was perfect!!! Access to two beaches, walking distance to amazing restaurants and to the railway station. Amenities of the Taj were excellent and the breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever experienced."

"Outdoor surroundings are beautiful, clean and well kept with easy access to a sandy beach. Pool is large and easily accessible. Food is lovely with a huge choice in the buffet. There's also an Italian restaurant and noodle bar on site. I think all rooms have a lovely view over the Indian Ocean. Staff are very attentive, kind and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I hope to return next year."
