"We stayed here because the description says 1 minute walk from Peryvar Reserve, it is not. 15 to 20 mins out of Kumily up a very bumpy track. No atmosphere at all. No yoga offered. Evening meal not good, I complained but ignored. Chef shouting in the kitchen. Pool green. Restaurant service not good at all. The best feature is the great taxi driver who works for the hotel. Although it was a VERY expensive service. Check the details before you book. "

"The outside of the building is nicer than the inside and with that said your view is basically a junk yard. The hotels.com listing lies about having breakfast, pool, etc. there was no breakfast available and no pool on site. Also, the bathrooms are not renovated and the photos they took do not show them properly. They smelled and there were ants all over our sink one morning. There was also no conference center, but it looks like one may be built at some point The staff was nice but will never stay here again."

"What a place! Just an amazing stay, thanks to brilliant staff and a super-chilled environment. The bungalows are so cute and comfortable. The grounds are so green a lush. The Tiger Team organised a great daytime and nighttime walk in the forest. We saw plenty of animals and loads of birds. Food in the main restaurant is very good. Also the cooking with spices demos are insightful. The small food place net to the bar was a bit disapointing. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Spice Village enough. A true haven of tranquility."
