"It was off season so quiet but you can imagine the staff were always helpful and attentive. Our room staff were very kind. The spa staff were excellent too, yoga and treatments. Manohar in the cocktail bar was absolutely charming. "

"The hotel had no food or amenities. Did not even have a breakfast of any kind. I have never been to such a hotel. "

"The outside of the building is nicer than the inside and with that said your view is basically a junk yard. The hotels.com listing lies about having breakfast, pool, etc. there was no breakfast available and no pool on site. Also, the bathrooms are not renovated and the photos they took do not show them properly. They smelled and there were ants all over our sink one morning. There was also no conference center, but it looks like one may be built at some point The staff was nice but will never stay here again."

"The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing! The location was beachfront and amenities including yoga were top notch. The room was comfortable and clean. You’re able to do dinner outside overlooking the beach and had a special bakery treat for my birthday. Great selection and service at breakfast!"

"I stopped over for 1 night en route to Varkala Beach. The hotel is very clean, the King Suite is very spacious. Rooftop bar and restaurant thoroughly recommended. Would stay again."

"Initially we booked a standard AC room but upgraded to a deluxe AC room on the 2nd floor which has been constructed newly. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places."
