"We just got back from staying at the Continental, and we had a blast! The breakfast was top-notch, with tons of tasty choices to kick off the day. We really loved the spa and wellness area, it was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The location is awesome too, with easy access to get around the city and a bunch of great food and drink spots nearby. The hotel bar is a hit as well, ideal for winding down with a drink in the evening. One of the coolest things about the Continental is how they’ve kept the original ancient structure, giving it a unique vibe and real character. Our room was super clean and comfy, though a bit smaller than we thought. There were a couple of little issues: the showerhead kept falling off, and the AC control panel was a bit loose. All in all, we had an amazing time and would totally recommend the Continental for its awesome amenities, thoughtful design, and perfect spot, though there’s a bit of room for improvement with the in-room stuff."

"Clean and pretty spacious. Loved having the small balcony overlooking a courtyard. Quiet street in a great location with tons of restaurants and bars in the area. Super centrally located and a full stocked grocery store a 2 mins walk away. Fantastic to be able to make tea in the morning, buy some groceries to not eat out every meal. Also appreciated the dishwasher and laundry in the unit. Front desk was great and responsive. Apartment was very clean. Would recommend!!"

"Clean, upscale hotel in the heart of Budapest walking distance to museums, Hero’s’ Square, and main boulevards. Easy parking, great food, and welcoming, helpful staff."

"We loved this hotel. It is just a 20 minute walk, and five minutes on transit from the main touristy district. We prefer not to be right in the center of the tourist district, because the restaurants are all a rip off, and it is noisy. The Up Hotel has lots of little shops and cafes around it that locals use. There is a lovely small park across the street, where they had a children's music show and farmer's market on Saturday. We paid a little extra for the top floor terrace and it was worth it. We could see the church on castle hill from our balcony. There are lots of transit options within a few minutes walk that will get you anywhere in Budapest quickly. Getting there from the airport is easy: take the e100 express but to the center of town, "Deak Ferenc" and go 2 stops on the metro to "Octagon". From there just a couple of blocks walk. Travel usually comes with a few hassles, even on a good trip, but this time it didn't. I kept saying to my wife I felt like I was cheating, because this is all too easy.
