"Great resort. Everything is impeccable. The only thing is the beach is man made so if you’re looking for an amazing beach experience you won’t find it there. Regardless of that I’d 100% recommend this resort. My kids had a blast!"

"We loved our stay at Sunset at the Palms!! The beach is one of the most amazing I’ve been to - it is across the road so something to consider if you have mobility concerns but we found it was a nice separation and there were crossing guards to help you get there safely. The beach was private, so you could get lunch from the resort and drinks as well. Rooms were a great size and bed was comfortable - some of the furnishings could use an update (I.e. no smart TVs, bathroom fixtures were a bit dated) but this did not take away from our experience at all. Many of the other guests we met had been to SATP 5-7x previously, which is a good sign! The food was incredible. Staff were pleasant, kind, and eager to help. Definitely would recommend SATP if you’re looking for a quieter, relaxing place - not for partiers or people looking for a rowdy vacation."

"Room climate was nice a cool. Air conditioning cool but not too cold. room clean and spelt faintly of bleach which we liked, was clean. Didn't particpate in the spa"

"Our refrigerator wasn't working for the first night and the A/C as well . And the room had a little odor in it. And the small towels it took them about 3 day's to give us the small towels. So i don't know if i would stay at this resort again. Yes its nice . Just the experience we had "

"If you read any reviews please read mine. Honestly I read all the lowest reviews after i booked this property and was nervous after and wow was i glad we didn't change our booking. First off we are from middle of nowhere western Nebraska so food choices are meat and potatoes and the best Mexican food anywhere. So food and eating in a different country always has its difficulties. We did not starve. If we didn't enjoy the restaurant we hit the buffet and were more than satisfied. We tried several places out of our comfort zone. We don't have indian or Jamaican flare in 200 miles of our house. But we tried it and came away experienced and knowing it was okay just not in our menu options going forward. Lets talk staff...we had the nicest most complementary staff experience. They were nice always asking if we were okay. Dont be a stuck up and say hello and actually treat them as a perdon and not there to wait on you without acknowledgement. Tips go a long way into better service and deep pours on drinks. We didnt pass a single employee ever that did not ask how we were. The only person we had any issue with was a waitress in the sports bar. She was rude and kept rolling her eyes at us. Never helped us no matter how long we waited. Guess what we did....went to the bartender and tipped him well in front of her and he was amazing!! Lastly upgrade when you book to signature level. Room with ocean view was insane! Well worth the extra money if you want to impress the Mrs. "
