"I’m sure the hotel will be very nice after renovations are complete, but we would’ve stayed somewhere else if we had known about the noisy construction and the restaurant and bar were closed. Our room was nice enough except for a broken chair . We did report it to the front desk."

"Heard every footstep upstairs and out in hall. Bathroom light was on motion sensor so all room was lit up when entered bathroom (even in middle of the night), elevator sounds like ready to break down (and heard it going up and down from our room (which was down the hall), spouse left to bring 1 bag to car, and room service came into room while I was in bathroom. The "idea" of renovated building to hotel seemed like good idea. NEEDS WORK!"

"This was a budget friendly property. It was a bit dated (entry doors from the outside...) old school motor lodge. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. If your traveling and need a clean place to rest this will work. If you need modern bells and whistles, this is not your place."

"This hotel was recently renovated and looks nice in appearance. Our room was very spacious and easy to get around. The shower was really nice with both overhead and handheld shower head. The staff was very nice. Parking was free. We didn't really do breakfast except the coffee which was always freshly brewed which was very nice."

"Everything was excellent except check in. There was an issue with employee unable to find reservations. Finally she determined it was reservations made that day she couldn’t find and since ours was made over a week prior, we were able to move ahead in line and check in. We had to stand around in lobby 30+ minutes. Shout out to Carla—a little too loud but excellent keeping breakfast food up and area very clean plus waiting on people when she saw an opportunity to do so. I didn’t understand housekeeping"

"Breakfast started at 6 we came down at 7 and there was barely anything left. Management stated it was eaten by the construction workers and they would not make more to accommodate the guest of the hotel. Management was very rude and unprofessional. Checked out immediately after. "

"The location of the castle was very convenient however this is NOT a castle. It is merely an event space built to resemble a castle. We arrived eaely on a Sunday and our room was not ready. We were told they would contact us when it was available but never did. Our room was next to the elevator, so was noisy. Bring your earplugs!"
