"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere)
Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me.
Room is a bit dated, only two sockets on the desk and no USB sockets anywhere.
Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room and good shower pressure!
Now the downside, no Air-Con - this is mentioned on the web, but I happened to be there during the hottest June in forever!
There was a Dyson fan... that was very weak with no controls apart from speed. At level 10 it did not reach the bed. I asked for a replacement but there are no spare fans. Shame as this is the only bad point I had, and the weather is not the hotels fault.
Bar staff helpful, Breakfast from 6.30 till 10 was tasty with a fair selection, several different breads and I do love a china teapot!
