"This is one of Kaunas' oldest hotels. In places it shows. There is no lift to the rooms and the room doors are past their best (opened with an old fashioned proper key). However, the place oozes history and charm. If you want an authentic 1920s hotel experience, this is it."

"Electric locks forxthe buildibg were great, also the loft door opened by calling. Very nice and clean, new place. There was some renovation works going on nearby, so it was bit noisy at mornings. The staff in the supermarket & some of the taxi drivers were very rude & didn’t smile at you just give you the death stare & don’t talk however the staff in the ibis hotel, the staff at mama pizza, staff at nords clinic were amazing!!

Smaller and less impressive than Vilnius, Kaunas is definitely worth a weekend. Lots to see and do. I especially liked the street art
