"This is an average looking hotel, but there are aspects which are five star....the staff, the service, the attitude, the hospitality, the welcome. I've been travelling five months through South America and Europe and this hotel was the BEST one I've stayed in. They bend over backwards to serve you and to make you comfortable. It was wonderful. There is also a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar with a fabulous view of the Nile and the rows of Sphynxes. The food is nutritious and tasty and very cheap. Best service I've experienced. Like having a home away from home"

"It is located at the edge of the Valley of the Kings. There is an unobstructed and wonderful view of the mountains. The entry area is spacious and decorated nicely. The rooms have high ceilings and are equiped with fans or A/C units and have good bath and kitchen areas. The residential area is teaming with the life of Luxor and you are enveloped by the sounds for the call to prayer throughout the day and evening. Being there is an enriching experience. "

"If you only care about location and a cheap price, then this place would work for you. This hotel needs lots of TLC. For me it seems like this place used to be a very good hotel, but they have neglected maintenance. Everything was old (beyond usual wear and tear), especially the mattresses. The restaurant's prices are really inflated, and honestly for nothing. Anyhow, the reception and bell hop staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Hotel is in a great location in Luxor, super central with the opportunity for a river side Nile walk all the way down to Luxor Museum and Temple. Not the highest standard, but for the great price, fine for a couple nights while exploring Luxor."
