A very comfortable hotel with exceptional service. The room was lovely with great views of the river and mountains. The food in the restaurant was of a very high quality. We stayed two nights and had a superb French-style meal on the first night with wine pairing. On the second night there was an excellent Japanese meal with Sake pairing. Very impressed overall.

We had a wonderful time, everyone was very kind and welcoming and the onsens were amazing

Great central location close to main sights and bus/train stations. Good choice of food for breakfast. Wife and kids enjoyed the complimentary face masks, moisturisers etc

We wish we could stay here longer. The bath was amazing (with 9 different indoor and outdoor pools), the Japanese-style room was a unique experience, and above all - the Japanese dinner was fantastic in both presentation, quantity, service and flavor.

Great hotel with beautiful public outdoor. Facilities are good and staff are friendly.

The hotel is amazingly good. Near the Matsumoto train station and the Matsumoto bus terminus. Hot spring bath and late night snack are very good. Also I am writing to thank a particular young front desk male staff.(Forgive me for forgetting his Japanese name) I left my passport in the last hotel. He contacted my previous hotel and helped to arrange the delivery of my passport from the last hotel to this hotel. He was caring, professional and helpful. This attribute was also shared by...

Nice living place for tourist

Excellent hotel in a very good location. The room was large, beautiful and well equipped. Great amenities and breakfast, friendly staff.

Nice onsen, comfortable room and modern tv. Great location

It was a beautiful place to stay with a lovely room and a modern bathroom attached. The old style was really beautiful with the dark wood. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights and used it as a base for Kamikochi and the wasabi farm and cycle in Azumino as well as the Castle in Matsumoto itself.

Traditional hotel well placed for local sights.

Lovely stay in Matsumoto. Staff is amazing, Kaneda gave us several lifts to and from town, and the cafe was so nice too!

Room was quite clean, good breakfast selection, drinks dispenser, skincare and other amenities available. Staff were very helpful

Everything was perfect.
