"Fantastic locatio, walkable to downtown Kona shops and restaurants. Great view and restaurant. Nice warm pool. Grounds and hallways, etc, were immaculate. Parking was across the street. Everyone was very pleasant. Rooms were large. The only reason why I didn't give a 5-star review is because our room smelled of mold. As a mold sensitive person, this was too much exposure for me over our 2 nights--likely due to carpeting and the humidity."

"Bathrooms need an overhaul. Kitchen was reasonably stocked, but over a 10-day stay we needed to request several items. Pool was wonderful"

"We stayed 4 nights, the hotel missed 1 day house keeping. I like the swimming pool but the water was not circulated enough. Breakfast has pancake and a variety of breads, and hearty, hot and cooked eggs, bacon etc. Very close to shopping, ABC and restaurants. 9 minutes walk to the beach where we could see many fish when swimming. We also joined the submarine tour, not only seeing many fishes under the sea, 2 dolphins followed our shuttle boat. "

The staff here are above and beyond and honestly, as a frequent Marriott Ambassador Elite traveler, I have to say that Marriott’s higher end brands need to step it up to match the class, ease, and care that Four Seasons has shown us. "Everything was perfect and wonderful except for the push to partake in a timeshare presentation. Luckily my husband pushed back and refused to attend. This was my only complaint."

"The condo was very nice and clean; with all you needed to enjoy the stay. The only issue we had was that the toilet had a leak at the base and caused the bathroom floor to be wet. We did let the office know but it was not fixed by the time we had to leave. We solved the problem by wrapping a beach towel around the base on the toilet."
