"First and foremost the Skiing was great! That was the purpose of my trip.the room was very clean the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I enjoyed my stay which was what one expects."

"We were moving my mother’s belongings for her in a U-Haul, but decided to take a scenic route through the eastern Sierras and have a couple of nice stays on the way. When I pulled up in front to check in, the bell hop seemed annoyed, even condescending that we had pulled up in a U-Haul. He rather snidely informed us that there was no parking for over-sized vehicles, and then directed me to move it to their loading dock doors (the vehicle was not blocking the driveway in front of the hotel). Not satisfied with how I parked the vehicle, he found me inside while checking in and rather rudely asked me for the vehicle key so he could park it as he felt necessary - completely inappropriate demeanor for a first interaction with a client/guest. Later, we ordered food at the hotel bar which turned out to be really disappointing. Even some of the staff made disparaging remarks about the restaurant. Terrible experience for a relatively expensive stay."

"The front desk at night time was unaware of snow conditions for skiing. Sauna was not working. "

"I had a wonderful experience staying at Limelight Hotel Mammoth. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The door staff truly outshined everyone—they were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and incredibly caring with our luggage. Their level of service made a lasting impression and set the tone for our stay. Unfortunately, I became ill during my trip and had to leave two days earlier than planned. The team handled everything with genuine care and professionalism, and I truly appreciated that they refunded those nights during a difficult situation. I was also traveling with my service dog, and they treated both of us with kindness and respect, which meant a lot. The hotel itself is clean, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would absolutely stay here again."

"Wonderful staff, fun game room, nice hot tub with Mountain views. Plus extras for the kids (root beer floats on Thursdays and Easter egg hunt on Easter). Had everything we needed for a great ski weekend."

"Super quaint property with cabins uphill from the lake. Nice main lodge with continental breakfast and great (upscale) restaurant in the main lodge. "

"very nice location inside the valley, room is dark and looks dated but clean. A short walk to the Yosemite fall. Cafe food is not that good and very pricy for the quality. "
