Danvers is central for our family's needs. You do need to drive to areas as they don't have many sidewalks and it is a busy road in that area

Danvers is a nice town and not that far from Salem. There are definitely lots of places to shop whether it's at the mall or one of the stores nearby. Definitely wished things closed a bit later though.

Sadly we were here with the wildfires, so the air quality wasn't great. But overall it's a great place to visit.

Danvers seems more like a working town vs, its neighbor Beverly which is very upscale.

Alot of options if you want to go out for something different for dinner/shopping
"Great hotel. Service was prompt and staff efficient. Good range of dining options available on site which was very convenient. Location was great, easy walk into the CBD and waterfront. Would stay here again. "
"It was an amazing experience especially for my first time in boston, however, my fiancee was walked into by an employee while he was in a stall using the bathroom. His stall door was wide open and she just started cleaning it like he wasnt there. Other than that amazing workers, very kind and sweet."
"Location is great for visiting MIT or Harvard. The colleges are all within walking distance. View of the river is amazing! Short uber/lyft ride to Boston and the sights.
Onsite restaurant is good. We ate at the restaurant several times, once for dinner and 3 times for breakfast.
No complaints. "
"We are world travelers, and stay in 2 - 5 star hotels. We were very impressed with the Godfrey Hotel. Door men, you hardly ever see door men in the USA. Valet, counter, porter, all very good at their job and had an excellent attitude toward us. We highly recommend this hotel."
