Very nice relaxing stay, enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool, generously proportioned room, staff all very pleasant and friendly. Liked the hotel decor which recalled the heritage of the hotel. Would stay again.

Staff were courteous, however breakfast was fairly drab, offered limited healthy choices and the hot drinks were lukewarm. The room door was stiff and difficult to open, the coffee machine tripped the electrics and was therefore unusable, and outside noise through the night disrupted sleep.

Great place, very clean, comfortable beds, and well looked after, there is a little noise from the road but it's fine unless you are a very light sleeper.

Excellent value with a top diner just 50 yards away and a fine bar another 50 yards up the street. No need to drive for your eating and drinking needs and the hotel room was clean, comfortable and the hotel support excellent.
