"Meals were ok except for the chicken pasta. I think that the chicken must have run over the pasta as I only found 3 extremely small pieces hidden in the plate."

"The young man that checked us in was so helpful. He was able to direct us to the bar for ice, got a couple of washcloths (not sure how ladies wash their face in Scotland) and even some extra pillows. Great pool/hot tub as well."

"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite. Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends."
